EVENTS FOR 2ND FRIDAY CIRCUIT OF ART JANUARY 13, 2012: 
PARTICIPATING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: 
Firehouse Art Center (444 S Flood) Holiday Gift Gallery will remain open through the month of January. The Firehouse is extending the Member’s discount of 10% to everyone who purchases artwork from the Gallery Gift Shop through January 31, 2012.  Discounts for class enrollments or Chocolate Festival tickets will only be extended to Firehouse members.
Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art (555 Elm Ave) will be providing live music and independent films by the deadCENTER Film Festival every 30 minutes. Admission to Art “à la Carte” is free and open to all ages. Live music and films run 6:30-8:30 pm. Live Music: OU Native Flute Studio, Short Films by deadCENTER Film Festival: Bathing and the Single Girl (10 min.), Bedfellows (16 min.) Films should be considered for mature audiences only.
Performing Arts Studio (200 S Jones Avenue) The abstract paintings of Norman artist Carolyn Faseler will be featured during January and February in the Depot Gallery, 200 South Jones, Norman.  An opening reception will be held. 
Dreamer Concepts (324 E Main St.) opens its doors for the continued exhibit Dreamer 40: a collection of works by University of Oklahoma students. 
MAINSITE Contemporary Art: Home of the Norman Arts Council (122 E Main St) invites guests to the opening of The 2011 Emerging Artists Show with Olen Cook, Joshua Blevins Peck, Trisha Thompson Adams, Jesse Whittle, & May Yang with the NAC Featured Artist Tünde Darvay in The Library & The Downtown Photo Month Contest winners’ exhibit.
NORMAN ARTS COUNCIL COMMUNITY PARTNERS:
Maggy’s Thread Designs & Bill Williams’ Studio (122 E Main St) will have 10% off all merchandise from Maggy’s Thread Designs.  In addition, 10% goes to the Women’s Resource Center. Also, Bill Williams has several new oil and watercolor pieces.
STASH (412 E Main St) presents the work of artist Jake Scott. Oklahoma native artist Jake Scott’s new body of work “We Were Once So Wild” is a collection of drawings that praises the wild spirited. The series consist of graphite drawings on tea stained paper. 
Gallery123 (123 E. Main St, above Forward Foods) welcomes visitors to view new work by participating artists. We are proud to welcome Pam Bradford and Louise Jones to Gallery 123. Please stop by and see their work.
Again (104 S Crawford Ave) will be open for the art walk (we are open for all the art walks) and will have food and warm drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider).
Merrybelle’s Gifts, Art & Tea (230 E Main St) presents: Quad-Polar! On one wall, be drawn into the minds of Jawn Babbitt & Rebelline, concentrating on their mega colorful & eclectic images.  Then turn around & check back into reality with the photography of Liam Whinery & Wilson McAlester, viewing the graffiti of Norman & darkness of things abandoned.  
Downtown Sound (105 S Crawford Ave) opens its doors featuring art by Anji Bryner and Al Smith, with music by Zanzibar! recording artist Doug Rader!
Unlabeled (1272 N Interstate Drive) Enjoy the company of Oklahoma’s talented artist Dustin Moore as he presents exclusive pieces from his most recent collections.
